The Ebb -Tide of Vibes

Posted on July 14, 2017

Expressing ourselves through creative writing and other artistic means help in the release of our emotions. The poem Ebb – Tide of Vibes embraces We Survive’s mission to inspire hopes and dreams while encompassing all of the following emotions needed for creative expression: hope, love, joy, peace, and patience.

Poetry (ancient Greek: ποιεω (poieo) = I create) is an art form in which human language is used for its aesthetic qualities in addition to, or instead of, its notional and semantic content. … The interactive layering of all these effects to generate meaning is what marks poetry.

The Basic Ingredient of Hope

Posted on May 26, 2016

I want to thank Bob Mueller for his continued encouragement and support of We Survive’s efforts.

I especially found the title of this story “The Basic Ingredient of Hope” to be in line with the mission of  We Survive and LIGHTFEST. Bob sums it up so well in this sentence, “Hope is a positive and potent basic ingredient with the power to pull us through difficult times.”
